Costume Construction
For my second production at UAB, I had the challenge of my first pattern draft. The bodice was drafted from a sloper, modified to fit and converting to princess seams. A peplum was added, as well as the sleeve cuff detail. The bodice was flatlined, and finsihed with commercial trim and a front closure of hook and eye tape. In addition to the bodice, there was the added fun of gathering and hanging a quilted skirt. Bodice and skirt patterned, cut, and constructed by MarciAgnes.
